| Talon Winery has announced its
purchase of St. Kathryn Cellars, Confre Cellars and Meadery of the
Rockies in Palisade. Owned and operated by local winemakers Glenn and Natalie Foster, Talon Winery will continue the operations of Confre founders Fred and Connie Strothman. The Fosters have been making wine commercially in Colorado for more than a dozen years, most recently at the Colorado Wine Room in Fruita, which the couple established in 2005. "I've been a winemaker without a winery for a while now, Glenn Foster said. We had been looking to buy a winery for some time, and Confre Cellars, with its three brands and two locations, is a perfect fit." |
